TV 500 / TV 500 DCW®
TV 500 and TV 500 DCW® immediately open the doors on the safe escape route with the help of the emergency button in an emergency and in case of use by the authorities. Because they combine the functions of an electric striker with the function of an electromechanical fail-safe locking device, they are often referred to as fail-safe strikers for escape route doors. Thanks to its concealed frame mounting, the TV 500 not only provides a visual elegance to the door, but is also resistant to tampering and physical damage.

Features
TV 500 - approved electric lock for escape route doors
TV 500 is used as a locking element in TMS emergency exit control systems. It complies with EltVTR (German directive for electrical locking systems in escape route doors) published by DIBt (German Civil Engineering Institute).
Easy adaptation to existing door type
The TV 500 is hidden inside the door frame, while the corresponding TV-Z 510 mortise latch lock is attached to the door leaf. Both the key blade of TV 500 and the key blade of TV-Z 510 can be adjusted according to their tolerances without the need to disassemble the components.
Versions for different door types
The TV 500 and TV 500 DCW® are available with an angled striker for rebated doors or a flat striker for flat closing doors. The famous dormakaba Easy Adapt latch guide is also available as an option. All versions have a built-in feedback contact for monitoring the enable/disable status and are ready for application in fire and smoke control doors.
TV 500 DCW® for added convenience
The DCW® system bus connects the TV 500 DCW® and the TMS emergency exit control system easily and quickly. If necessary, analog TV 500 locking devices can be connected to TMS systems using the TV DCW® adapter or the universal DCW® adapter.
